5x+3y=-2
What am I supposed to do with this?
one sec its not complete
have to find the rate of change
Ok. So what you have here is the equation for a line. You need to find the rate of change, which in this case is the same thing as a slope. Do you know what the slope of a line is?
Rate of change= slope. Get it into point slope form. y=mx+b, where m is the slope.
change into linear form of y = mx + b, and you'll get y = -5/3 - 2/3 so the m is the slope or the rate of change is -5/3
kinda new to this stuff i went to a school that skipped right over this its annoying
missed the x it's supposed to be y = -5/3x - 2/3
y=mx+b is the formula 3y=-5x-2 y=-5x/3-2/3
Rate Of Change : 5x+3y=-2 subtract 5x from both sides 5x-5x + 3y = -2 -5x 3y = -5x - 2 Divide both sides by 3 3y/3 = (-5x - 2)/3 y = -5/3x - 2/3
Yeah, so basically all you do is rearrange it to y=mx+b form, and then "m" is your answer
ok that looks right to me
you good?
whoops sorry didn't see. @FriedRice is right! :)
So is @varun1495
stormgirl you were there when I screwed up and put it up in bio
yeah friedrice
ok
hey @stormgirl47 is that not rgt???
No, @varun1495 I said you were right! :)
its ok...:)
