OpenStudy (anonymous):

pls

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what am i suppose to do write it in an equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one sec sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@elainepls can you stop?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@FriedRice wut

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plz stop putting random comments on this tab please

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

do you have to do a,b,c,d, in the first attachment ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you know if im a guy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@texaschic101 you can do c and ill do a and b

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I will do c and d then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

(c) slope 2, y intercept -4 y = 2x - 4 (d) I cant read the slope on d...can you help me out ?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

@xbob ....on D....what is the slope...I can't read it clearly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for a i will use slope intercept form because you can find the slope then plug in one of the points into the eqaution. 2 - 4/ -5 + 1 = -2 / -4 = 1/2 SO y = 1/2x + 4 1/2 for b ill use slope intercept form again because it gives you the equation already. y = 2x - 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about b and d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im doing a and b am texaschic101 is doing c and d

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

oops..I did b.....what is the slope on d ...I can't see it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you simplify a for me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is y = 1/2x + 4 1/2

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

(c) I don't know how to do C I need someone to tell me the slope on D..it is not clear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help texaschic101 friedrice pls?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

what is the slope say on D ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope is -3/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind flip it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-5/3

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

@FriedRice ...on C would I use x(6,0) and y (0,3) ? (d) y - y1 = m(x - x1) slope -5/3 points (1,2) y - 2 = -5/3(x - 1) point slope form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) points (6,0)(0,3) m = (3 - 0) / (0 - 6) m = 3/-6 = - 1/2 y - y1 = m(x - x1) y - 3 = -1/2(x - 0) -- point slope form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for the answers and help

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

no problem...what about the second attachment ?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

2nd attachment (c) your given 2 sets of points. first you find the slope using the slope formula. Then you use the point slope form because you have the slope and a set of points. (d) your given a set of points and a slope. Use the point slope form because of this

ok
