y2-y1/x2-x1 = m (gradient) therefore m = -5.

To find the slope you're looking for the difference in y values over the difference in x values. You can pick any two points to work with, assuming this is a line. So lets take the first two points: (-2, 2) and (-1, 3) So lets solve for the slope: \[m=\frac{ \Delta y }{ \Delta x }=\frac{ 3-2 }{ -1--2 }=?\]

Well I managed to write the wrong point down, it's (-1,-3) not (-1,3)
