What is the magnitude and direction of Vector GH if G(1, -6) and H(8, 3)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

magnitude: 11.4 units: direction: 37.87° magnitude: 11.4 units; direction: 52.13° magnitude: 7.62 units; direction 37.87° magnitude: 7.62 units: direction: 52.13°

can you take a screenshot of the material and post it here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is no pic just the words

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, I meant the picture of the words themselves :) you see I dunno what GH stand for, if it's the dot-product, then that'd give you a scalar, not a vector result, and won't have a magnitude or direction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is exactly what it said What is the magnitude and direction of Vector GH if G(1, -6) and H(8, 3)? GH is a line segment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am starting a self study of vector and tensor analysis when I have the spare time. The diagram posted was withdrawn because I was not sure of it's validity. I believe the following is the solution: magnitude: 11.4 units; direction: 52.13°

ok TY
