ok so what you need to do is find v so you would take V out of the equation and put S in so it would be V= then because you need to do the opposite of what it took to find S it would be V=4+s/2 make sense?

no you are trying to find V so it needs to be isolated

So Divide by 4 to get s/4=v^2 Take the square root to get: v=+/- sqrt(s)/2
