Is it the middle, left or right picture?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

Rn*Rm does not seem to be a standard notation. What does it represent in this context?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

sounds like some permutation jargon .... but its still unclear what your spose to do with it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

"m" looks like a (reflection?), and "n" looks like an identity but different authors compose their functions in different ways; some read left to right while others read right to left

OpenStudy (amistre64):

but since "n" does absolutely nothing that i can tell; its just simplifies to "m" ..... best guess for me then is the middle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My teacher just said to skip it because he cant explain it to me but thanks for your help :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good luck :)
