Can angle 2 be one of them???
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Angle 3 is supplementry,cause it's opposite. No??
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
lets start from \(\angle 16\) first
OpenStudy (anonymous):
kk

15, 14, 17, 18, 19 - Are any of them supplemental to \(\angle 16\) ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
15 17 19
OpenStudy (anonymous):
14 is NOT
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
actually none of them are supplemental
OpenStudy (anonymous):
WHAT!?!?!!!

Ohkay i got it now!!
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
cuz none of them when added to \(\angle 16\) give us a straight line
so, reject 15, 14, 17, 18, 19
lets move on
OpenStudy (anonymous):
6 9 10 13
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i thought angle 16 was 45 degrees.
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
we dont know its measure, all we know is the pairs of lines are parallel. thats all

lets analyze angles 10, 11, 12, 13
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So if we were trying to get the measure of angle 15 we couldnt??
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
thats right, we cannot get the measures of 15 or 16
all we have is
15+16 = 90 degrees
OpenStudy (anonymous):
45+45=90
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
it doesnt say, red lines are bisecting these angles

so why wud u assume 45+45 ?
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
it can be 30+60 also eh ?
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
or 44+46 also
who knows
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I think I got this now. B'cause 15+16=90 dgre angle. and 90 divide bu 2 is 45.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You do have a measure actually as the angle around 1,2,3,4,5 is given to be 65 degrees. It is irrelevant though.

Howdya get that? O_o
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
yes we dont need to use that, it just complicates if we try to find all measures and see whats supplement
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Oh I saw it!!
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
your question is about finding angles supplemental to \(\angle 16\)
we can find that without finding measures
OpenStudy (anonymous):
However, as ganeshie8 mentioned, it would be an inefficient approach to calculate all of the angles.

I got that anser already thou
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Anser: 6 9 10 13
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
they all are supplemental , correct
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ty
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
did u also check the angles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ?

I gave You a medal C:
OpenStudy (anonymous):
65 degres
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
they wont be supplemental. so you're correct 6 9 10 13 are the oly supplemental angles.
btw who gave u the answer, somebody messaged you ?
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
so kind of them
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I figured it out, procces of elimination. :P
