Who Discovered Nuclear Energy..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Enrico Fermi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

though there are many contributors. Such as, Eisten and others.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

@Will.Neko Ohh, well, he was known for his work on the development of Chicago Pile-1, the first nuclear reactor. Not Nuclear Energy. I applaud you for sharing your opinion. Congrats..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh... my bad.

OpenStudy (koikkara):

try, ask ur friends to lend a hand...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no one else in here is taking chem. I'm sorry

OpenStudy (koikkara):

its not chem...its general topic...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh... i'll see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Antoine Henri Becquerel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i believe so

OpenStudy (jmark):

Enrico Fermi is the the inverter of nuclear energy. Know more about Nuclear Reactors http://physics.tutorvista.com/modern-physics/nuclear-reactors.html

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Becquerel in 1896

OpenStudy (koikkara):

sure?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

You should Google it. There might be a difference between discovering radioactivity and "discovering" nuclear energy. In the second case, the verb "to discover" is a bit strange. In the case of Fermi, I would say that he built the first nuclear reactor.
