Alright. The question asks a 180 degree rotation counterclockwise. But does the direction of rotation matter when its 180 degree? Just measure the distance of C from P, turn it around, and find the new location of C. Try it out.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it doesn't

OpenStudy (sumi29):

@ehmuleeee : Correct! Now, you know the distance of C from P. Just turn C around now. You do this by simple moving UP from P the same distance that was the distance of C from P!

okkkk

OpenStudy (sumi29):

Did you get the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still sorta confused lol

OpenStudy (sumi29):

No problem. The simplest way to find the answer is this: Both A and C are equidistant from P. So just find the co-ordinates of A! That is your answer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3,3)?

OpenStudy (sumi29):

Correct!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you :)

OpenStudy (sumi29):

You are welcome. Don't hesitate before trying weird new things out when solving problems! Anything that helps you get the answer is a good tool!
