Please help, which point is part of the solution of the inequality y> |2x - 1| a. (1,1) B. (0,0) c. (3,2) D.(1,0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have graph paper available to draw it?

OpenStudy (jkbo):

Yes,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to graph inequalities?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or do you know the formula you need to use...? It depends if you have to graph it or algebraically work it our

OpenStudy (jkbo):

its just algebraically work no graphs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok then thats easy, just plug in the x and y values in the inequality until you find one that is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for example.. \[y>\left[ 2x-1 \right]\] (1,0) you would just plug the 1 in for x and the zero in for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you understand?

OpenStudy (jkbo):

yes thank you
