What's wrong? :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ive been stuck on the same problem all day ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

noooo we are to late

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the problem you are stuck on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which ordered pair is not a solution? y < -x + 4 y > 1/2x - 2 A) (0,2) B) (1,3) C) (-2,2) D) (-1,-1)

OpenStudy (uri):

@mathstudent55 Help him,i have no idea about this.

OpenStudy (falco276):

Why are there soo many people?

OpenStudy (falco276):

Algebra? I actually don't know about this. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y < -x + 4 y > 1/2x - 2 choose one of the equations to replace y -x+4>1/2x-2 +2 +2 -x+6>1/2x +x +x 6> 3/2x 6(2/3)=(2/3)3/2x 4=x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

choose either equation and plug 4 in for x to find y y<-4+4 y<0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets put x in bot equations of y in all cases and see if it is true 1(0,2) y<-0+4 ,y<4 y>1/2(0)-2=-2 true cos y=2 2 (1,3) y<-1+4=3 y>1/2(1)-2=-3/2 since \[y<3\] and not \[y \le 3\] so y is strictly less than 3 and not equal so this point is not the solution since y=3
