plse solve this

OpenStudy (kainui):

The y-axis is where x=0 right? Just look at this picture: |dw:1374310117143:dw| So to see where they intersect, you can plug in 0 for x into 2x-6y=10 and solve for y.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0- 6y =10 -6y=10 y=-5/3

OpenStudy (kainui):

Boom, done!

OpenStudy (kainui):

Ask yourself though, does this make sense? Is y=-5/3 on the y-axis?

OpenStudy (kainui):

It's intersecting both lines, so it should be on both lines, that's all I'm trying to make sure you can see by stepping back to look at your answer to "check" for it being reasonable.
