can i please have a little help? mulytiple this ? (8x+y)squared?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(8x+y)(8x+y) Now just multiply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

64x^2y^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Guess I should've explained that better. When I said multiply, I mean that you need to distribute each term into one another. (8x+y)(8x+y) 64x^2+8xy+8xy+y^2 So you get 64x^2+18xy+y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

@AlwaystheBookworm, I think you meant 64x^2+16xy+y^2 (I also do this all the time)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! I do! Thanks for catching that!
