Choose the polynomial that is written in standard form. 2x3y2 + 4x4y + 8x7 −3x4y2 + 4x4y5 + 10x2 6xy2 + 4x3y8 + 9x2 −2x5y3 + 4x2y2 + x2

For standard form, you need to put the terms in order and set it equal to y

As these are expression and not equations, they do not need to equal anything. I assume some of these equations have exponents. Usually we write the largest exponent first (farthest to the left. Does that help?

kinda

is it c? I really need to know!

\[2x^3y^2 + 4x^4y + 8x^7 , −3x^4y^2 + 4x^4y^5 + 10x^2, 6xy^2 + 4x^3y^8 + 9x^2 \] −2x^5y^3 + 4x2y^2 + x^2

Look at the discussion of the same problem a year ago. Note the comments of @satellite73 http://inquus.org/updates/4ffd8709e4b00c7a70c60ec4 @jaderbrown
