solve linear inequalities 7-4/5x<3/5

OpenStudy (mertsj):

\[7-\frac{4}{5}x<\frac{3}{5}\]

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Is that the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i ahd trouble and will in the future i didnt know if i should did the math on the left first or get the 7 to the other side or multiply whole equation by 5 first however my final answer is -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x>-1

OpenStudy (mertsj):

It's probably easiest to multiply both sides by 5 first but it really doesn't matter. You could subtract 7 from both sides first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really? i would came with same answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i started to 7 times -4/5 at first thats wrng huh?
