Calvin and Ken bought a bag of 60 onions. They divide all of these onions between them, such that the number of onions that Ken has is a multiple of the number of onions that Calvin has. Given that Calvin has at least 7 onions, what is the maximum number of onions that Ken has? Details and assumptions Each of them have a whole number of onions. They do not cut or split up an individual onion.

suppose calvin has exactly 7, then how many does ken have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since calvin has at least 7....you can find the next number greater than 7 that when you subtract to 60 will result to the number which is 10 60 - 10 = 50 50 is a multiple of 10 right?
