If angle ADC and angle ABC are right angles, AC=BD, and AB=DC, which postulate or theorem proves triangle ABC is congruent to triangle CDA?

@nincompoop

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

I am not that savvy with theorems and proving in math. But if ∠ADC and ∠ABC are both right angles, we can deduce that our object or shape is either a rectangle or a square. Based on that we can rule in congruence

okay thanks !

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

and if |AC ⩭ |BD (are congruent) then we can deduce that |AD ⩭ BC (are congruent), similarly with lines |AB ⩭ |DC (are congruent) and since that is the case, it makes △ADC ⩭ △ABC (congruent) we can put values in to prove our case, but that's not the point of theorems

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

maybe after my next semester I will be a lot better at this and I would be able to teach it better

I understand , thanks for taking your time to help :)
