how do you find the limit of 5x^2 + 3x -1 / 6x^2 - x + 7 x--> infinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you have infinity , you can neglect the x with lower degree ad you can imagine that there is just 5x^2/6x^2 then by canceling x^2 in num and dom you reach 5/6 and that's the answer now tell me what's the answer of this limit ? x^2+1/X^2+5 x-->infinity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that just 1 then?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that's correct, thanks
