How do fungi differ from plants?

Fungi actually do have cell walls, like plants. The material in their cell walls is different. One big difference between plants and fungi is how they feed. Fungi are "heterotrophs." That means that they depend on other organisms for food. Plants are "autotrophs." That means that they can make their own food.
