yes it is written in standard form because the formula for standard form is ax+by=c and -2 is the a and the 3 is the b in the formula.

what about 12= 2x + 4y

yes that is also written in standard form because the numbers have a letter in front of them the 2 has a x in front of them and the 4 has the y in front of it.
