Which of the following ordered pairs is not a solution to the inequality y < -x + 6? (-3, 0) (-1, 0) (4, 3) (3, -2) anyone know how to solve?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(4, 3)

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

you can try the points to see which one is not true example lets try (-3,0) on equation y <-x+6 so we have 0 < -(-3) + 6 0<9 true, so this point is good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y < -x + 6 check it at (4, 3) where x=4 and y= 3 so 3 < -4 + 6 i.e. 3 < 2 which is false so (4, 3) is not a solution to the inequality y < -x + 6
