I thought A=PI*r^2
but it isnt working out that way
OpenStudy (anonymous):
in terms of x?what?there is no x in here..
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I KNOW! It is so confusing =(

4.1=diameter=2r --->r=4.1/2

now use pi*r^2
OpenStudy (anonymous):
A. 4.2025x m2
B. 8.405x m2
C. 16.81x m2
D. 11.2x m2
OpenStudy (anonymous):
4.1=2(2.05)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
A=PI*2.05^2
A= 13.20

not a choice. and what is th

e deal with the x?????
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@Krishnadas ?????
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I know, they have pi represent the m
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So see how you did 4.1/2?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes

Well if you square that you get 4.2025
OpenStudy (anonymous):
and then you multiply that by the m2 which im guessing is pi, see thats the only answer that seems legit
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ohhhhhh!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yea, was it correcT?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Doesn't that seem like a confusing way to find the area-instead of just using the formula we were taught?

Or is it just me not getting it?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Thank you for your help @doulikepiecauseidont
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I'm not sure, lol and there's more formulas for the area lol, they're complicated but give the same answer
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yes, it was correct. Thank you again =)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Sure, anytime =)
