slope intercept form is just y=mx+b ... to find "m" you just take the y parts and subtract them, take the x parts and subtract those, then divide the change in y by the change in x. Then "b" is just where the line crosses the y axis

so for this one, the change in y is 2 down. The change in x is 3 to the right and the line crosses the axis at -4.25

so m is -2 (because it's down) divided by 3 and b is -4.25, so just put those back into the first equation
