"To be always running three or four thousand miles with a tale or a petition, waiting four or five months for an answer, which when obtained requires five or six more [months] to explain it in, will in a few years be looked upon as folly and childishness—There was a time when it was proper, and there is a proper time for it to cease.” —Thomas Paine This quote from the pamphlet Common Sense argues that England is too childish to rule ruled by a tyrant not listening to petitions too far away to rule help please @countonme123 @captain_page_turner @Luigi0210

too far away to rule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you, can you also help me on other ones if you don't mind? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

basically if you read it saying that they are 3 too 4 thousand miles away and that it takes them days to respond and yeah sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you how about this one? The amendment process under the Constitution is an example of federalism because it takes place at the federal level with input from Americans willing to travel to the nation’s capital includes all the branches of the national and state governments to get an amendment ratified specifies that each amendment must be ratified first by the states and then proposed by Congress requires cooperation between the state and national governments to ratify an amendment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it would be d because they would need both for an agreement, im not sure but it looks like the best answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you! how about this one :3 sorry if im being extremely annoying I just don't understand these! The pamphlet Common Sense by Thomas Paine was important because it provided a way for colonists to demand rights from the king taught the colonists to respect the British king’s right to rule convinced many colonists to declare independence from Britain enforced the agreements of the first people to settle America

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c because many gringos where scared too scared too confront them haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha thank you omg! & this one? :3 :) When the Constitution was first ratified, men who owned no property could not vote. Later amendments to the Constitution have affected Americans’ participation in government. Amendment 24 ensures that slavery is abolished people of all races can vote even poor people can vote women are included as citizens

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i had to google this one but it says that that they added a poll tax so blacks voting could minimize their voting but then they tried to change the poll tax and the logical answe would have to be B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you & do you think you can help me with a couple more? :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ima see what ican do cus igotta finish my math too lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright I guess you can just help me on one more? thanks :)) In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury.” The U.S. government today reflects the main idea of this quote by demanding that all Americans pay taxes to aid conflict in other nations teaching the children of Americans the only proper way to contact officials offering medical care for all Americans affected by war or other conflict protecting the right of Americans to free speech and political expression
