According to my sources the most correct answer is A. But I think following quotation will be more useful for you: "The tragic monologue in Shakespeare' plays has allowed the hero, when he's one on scene, with auditorium in private, consider their own thoughts aloud. Thereby, monologue was not a stop in action, but became rather fascinating moment of the drama, when wit of the spectator could rush onward, forecasting future."
