Not quite. I see that you remember our discussion about shifting up and down, but shifting to the left and right is a little more complicated.

"left 3" means \(f(x+3)\) rather than \(f(x)+3\) \(f(x)+3\) is UP 3

As @satellite73 said, it would be (x+3)^2 because that's what shifting to the left means.
