OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is what I got

OpenStudy (anonymous):

teacher said it was wrong

OpenStudy (psymon):

Remember, x - h is the natural form. So what you actually have is (x - (+1)). Even though the sign there is minus, you almost have to ignore it. The minus is just supposed to be there, you want the number next to it, which is just a positive 1 in this case.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it s a flying v on the positive side

OpenStudy (psymon):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have another ? which a little different

OpenStudy (psymon):

What is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x)=-1/x^even

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was suppose to graph this but it totally blew my mind

OpenStudy (psymon):

Well, I'm guessing its because theyd be almost the same graph. Theyre not the same, but theyd overlap each other for any even power there. If you graphed 1/(x^2) 1/(x^4), etc, theyd be real close.
