In the standard equation of a circle, (x - h)2 + (y - k)2 = r2, what does (h, k) represent? A. the length of the radius B. the length of the diameter C. the coordinates of the center of the circle D. the coordinates of the endpoints of the diameter

Is there a pic? if not I believe its c.

nope no pic

The first two choices can't be correct, because (h, k) are the coordinates of a point, and can't describe a length. Now look at the other two. The endpoints of the diameter could be any point on the circle, since you draw a diameter from any point on the circle through the center and onto another point. So it can't be this choice. The only remaining choice is the center of the circle, which is correct.

YAY I was right lol I think..
