-1/6 + 1/3 = ? a) -1 1/6 b) -1/2 c) 1 1/6 d) 1/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no -1 1/6 lolz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@pengembara_bumi lol yea I was about to say.. Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) oke

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Shouldn't it be 1/6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2/6-1/6 = 1/6 lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RPguy there is no answer of that so no lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, but the others don't make sense unless I'm being stupid right now and forgetting an important piece... Because you have to get common denominators... I even did it on a calculator and converted it to a fraction and it gave me 1/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RPguy come on bro...thats what i already told him -_- no solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RPguy you probably forgetting something because I went on a calculater and it gave me 0.---- and so on meaning its nagative so its -1 1/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you sure there are no other options?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, just because it's a decimal does not mean it's a negative number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RPguy positive lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RPguy nvm you dont get me lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-,,-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@pengembara_bumi1 you look like a pig -,,-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what ?? c: you too @Juliette32801 ! hahahhaha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't get you? Anyways, on a calculator, if you put in (-1/6)+(1/3) it will give you .1666(repeating) which, if you convert it into a fraction on a graphing calculator like I did, it will give you 1/6
