Into which group would you place a multicellular organism that has a mouth and a lives inside the human liver? a. Plantae b. Fungi c. Animalia d Proteobacteria

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does it harm the liver? plantae wouldn't go inside livers and i've never heard fungal infections or anything inside a human body, they mainly attack the skin and such. so that leaves you to two choices :) animalia and proteobacteria. now, you choose :) if the multicellular organism harms the human by staying in the liver, it most probably is a bacteria, right? but if it doesn't harm, it should be something from the animalia group :) i hope this came to help :)

@WazihaKhan Fungal infections are usually superficial, so that they only cause damage to the skin. But there are more serious types of fungal infections that we call "systemic infections." These infections happen when a fungus invades a host's bloodstream. From there, they can grow on, and damage vital organs, like the heart and the brain. Systemic infections are deep infections that happen inside of the body. --------- This question actually makes me think of liver flukes. Liver flukes are parasites that can infect and damage our livers. And since they're classified under the kingdom Animalia, they're technically animals. Harmful animals.
