I want to know the theoretical probability that red is a person's favorite color. I ask 1,200 people what their favorite color is. Here are my results: blue: 425; yellow: 310; green: 125; and the remainder said red was their favorite color. What is the Experimental Probability that red is a person's favorite color?

Notice that since we are looking for experimental probability, our probability will be based on the total number of people we asked who said they like red over the total number of people we asked. Here we have surveyed 1200 people. 425 said blue, 310 yellow, 125 green so the number of people who chose red must be:\[\bf 1200-425-310-125=340 \ people \ chose \ red\]So 340 people chose red out of 1200 total people that were surveyed. Can you find the experimental probability now? @noonoo
