What is 80 ÷ (-50)? a) -1 4/5 b) -1 3/5 c)-1 2/5 d)-1 1/5
-8/5
Think of it as and reduce. \[-\frac{ 16 }{ 10 }\]
a) -1 4/5 b) -1 3/5 c)-1 2/5 d)-1 1/5 those are my choices
10 can fit into 16 once, leave you with 6/10 left over. Reduce 6/10.
What is 80 ÷ (-50)? a) -1 4/5 b) -1 3/5 c)-1 2/5 d)-1 1/5
Gives you B
-1 \[\frac{ 3 }{ 5 }\]
So, whats going on? I don't want to come off as rude. but its pretty clear how to put this into a calculator to solve for it.
There's just a constant stream of these questions and it just seems like you're looking for the answer. Which is great when it comes to killing some homework at the last minute, but what happens on the test?
i go to online school. & i just wnat to get it over with so i can go to high school
You're still going to need to know this stuff for high school, and college.
If you don't take the time to learn it now, then when you get into high school you'll be behind and need to try that much and spend that much more time to fill in that knowledge gap. Sometimes it takes me... 8 hours a week to do some math homework but thats because I sit there and get what I'm doing. It sucks. Believe me, but I also get good grades on tests and remember the stuff when I learn new things that are built on top of this.
well online school doesnt teach me, so someone has to.
hey according to BODMAS rule we first evaluate the bracket then take it out then divide giving option B.
Then you should find something that does teach you. Getting the answer off this isn't going to help in the long run. Check out www.khanacademy.com if you need help with math.
whoops, www.khanacademy.org
thanks (:
