what is the difference between transcription and translation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Transcription is where DNA goes to RNA. Special proteins in our cells take our DNA, and they use it to put together RNA. Translation is where our ribosomes take our RNA, and they use it to put together a whole chain of amino acids. And these amino acids are linked together, to make proteins. So review: Transcription is DNA >> RNA Translation is RNA >> Proteins
