I'm not exactly sure how to set these up if f(x)=x^2+3 and g(x)=1/x find A) (f+g)x B) (f*g)x

OpenStudy (amistre64):

A says that you add them together B says that you multiply them together

OpenStudy (austinl):

Exactly!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A would be ((x^2+3)+(1/x)) and B ((x^2+3)(1/3) ?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes, and then you would simplify to your hearts desire if need be

OpenStudy (amistre64):

not 1/3 but 1/x :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah lol and thanks alot

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youre welcome, good luck :)
