!!! One Medal Question !!! - Give an example of a scientific question that could be investigated with an experiment. Then give an example of scientific question that could not be investigated in this way.

OpenStudy (tanya123):

@Kayne & @thomaster

thomaster (thomaster):

Didn't you ask this one before?

OpenStudy (tanya123):

yea I did ... but when i noticed that is was askin to link up both questions.. my question was closed !

OpenStudy (kayne):

@tanya123 please refer to the earlier post.

OpenStudy (tanya123):

@Kayne Well, if you take into account what's happening around you, for instance global warming, an intriguing scientific question could be: " Can macroalgal culture help mitigate the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere?" The experiments would entail measuring the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by the organism. On the other hand for the scientific question which cannot be investigated in this way. What do you mean by that actually? One scientific question which would entail a completely different setup for investigation would be "Can people think during their sleep?" Maybe that would require the use of MRI and other stuffs to investigate the human behaviour during sleep. I hope it helps.

OpenStudy (tanya123):
