Make a conjecture about the functions: f(x) = sin(x) g(x) = cos( x – (π/2) )

OpenStudy (psymon):

Almost looks like the same problem but they said conjecture this time, lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And it's cosine not sineXDDD

OpenStudy (psymon):

Well, from before, do you know what the phase shift is of that cosine function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

π/2????

OpenStudy (psymon):

Yeah, haha. Pretty simple. So now we just need to get the hang of what the sin and cos graphs look like. From there you should be able to see it :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I graphed them. I just don't know what kind of conjecture to make about them Dx

OpenStudy (psymon):

I swear theres a glitch with thedraw system if you try to drag it -_-. Well, if you graphed them, you should be able to see that sinx and cos(x-pi/2) are the same graph :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nut transfered.

OpenStudy (psymon):

Nut transfered?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But*** XD

OpenStudy (psymon):

Lol, well, theyd be the exact same line is all. Now if I could get the drawing to work x_x

OpenStudy (psymon):

|dw:1375235448822:dw| Horrible drawing, but I tried to draw cosine and the pi/2 shift of cosine, lining it up with the sin graph. Either way, theyre the same graph xD
