Systems of equations with different slopes and different y-intercepts have more than one solution. My answer is Never Am I right? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

OpenStudy (nurali):

i think sometimes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

systems of linear quations either have 0, 1, or infinite number of solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So therefor it would be never, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the slopes are different, they always have 1 solution if the slopes are the same, then if the intercepts are different they have 0 solutions and if the intercepts are the same they have infinite number of solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the intecepts are the same and they have the same slope... just to be clear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you :)
