solve system of equations: 2x-3y+z=0 x+y-2z=5 -2x+2y+4z=2 Please help& ill give you a medal :)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

1. Add equations 1 and 3 That will eliminate x

OpenStudy (mertsj):

2. Multiply equation 2 by 2 3. Add that equation to equation 3. That will eliminate x again.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Now you have two equations with only y and z. Solve that system.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait but how do you eliminate the 2nd x if the other two have already been eliminated?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

By doing what I said.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk what i did but i ended up eliminating z

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Post what you did.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
