OpenStudy (luigi0210):

sinusoid means sine wave?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes!

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The only sinusoidal function is the one with a cosine of x.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Well there's only one function there close to sine.. cosine..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats what I was thinking. Is that because cos(x) = sin(x + π/2)? I wanted to make sure D. was the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you both

OpenStudy (anonymous):

See attached plot.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

" Is that because cos(x) = sin(x + π/2)" Yep.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, thanks guys! I have to recheck my work

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

@robtobey google will save you a lot of time: https://www.google.com/search?q=cos(x)+-+2&oq=cos(x)+-+2&aqs=chrome.0.69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

@agent0smith Thank you for the site reference.
