Look at the graph. Which equation best represents the circle in the graph? options: (x + 1)2 + (y - 4)2 = 9 (x + 1)2 + (y + 4)2 = 9 (x - 1)2 + (y - 4)2 = 9 (x - 1)2 + (y + 4)2 = 9

Reallllllly cheap way to get the answer for this one. Your center of your circle is in the first quadrant, where both x and y have to be positive. That means both the x and y terms are x- and y -. Only one of your answers has that, lol.

The answer choices they gave you didnt have enough variation in them for us to require much thought. Do you see my reasoning for what I said?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its c right?

OpenStudy (psymon):

Only possible answer, yes.

OpenStudy (psymon):

They could've at least mixed the numbers up some :/ Guess just makes it easier on ya then, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :)

u should be online more often because u explain good and its easier to find the answer

OpenStudy (psymon):

Im here on and off, just not constantly, lol. I often am at school, I work as a math tutor there. Summer break, though, so I'm around more often.
