@abb0t @nincompoop @Ashleyisakitty @genius12 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just know that 4 servings=9beets & i need to find how many bags of that thing i need to get to 37

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i honestly think its B but then again i think its E too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its B now. i know 81/4 =20.25 so i think approx its B & alright! :)

OpenStudy (bambimonster):

4 servings:9beets 37servings:83.25beets

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wait so then it would be C no? cause you would need more than 4 bags

OpenStudy (bambimonster):

how did u get 81?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i multiplied 9 times 9 i had 9 rows & 9 bags to get there kinda but i see where you coming from though

OpenStudy (bambimonster):

i used ratio but still wait for what @genius12 is saying

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Anyway, like bambi said, using ratios, we get 83.25 beets. Since each bushel has 20 beats then:\[\bf \frac{ 83.25 }{ 20 }=4.1625 \ bushels\]But she can't buy 4.1625 bushels can she? And if she bought 4 bushels then that wouldn't be enough. Hence the smallest number of bushels she can buy to have just enough to make 37 servings is 5 bushels.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats what i was thinking but yeah i get what Bambi was saying & thanks to both of you guys! :)
