Use basic identities to simplify the expression. cos θ - cos θ sin2θ

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats sin^2theta

OpenStudy (yrelhan4):

ok take cos θ out of the bracket.. so you'll get cos θ (1- sin^2 θ) also you should know cos^2 θ + sin^2 θ = 1 .. Now you should be able to smplify it.
