OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

Factor completely:-12x2 - 6x Select one: a. 6x(2x+1) b. 2x(6x -2) c. prime d. -6x(2x+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

damnn ur cute i know this is not math related xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also prime doesn't sound like the right terminology to use here, perhaps irreducible over somthing, would make more sense, I am not really familiar with any abstract algebra though so yeah.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pull -6x from the equation and you get \[-6x(2x+1)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

devide \[-12x^2-6x\] by \[-6x\] =\[(-12x^2)/(-6x)+(-6x)/(-6x)\] =−6x(2x+1)

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

thank you but it is @romanortiz65

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean what i said xD

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

so it is d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

fallowing?

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

yes Factor Completely: a2+ 5a +ab Select one: a. (a+5)(a+b) b. a(a+5+b) c. (a+2)(a+3) d. prime

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. Do you understand why the answer is d?
