what is the y-value of cos(x) if x=0
is this a long winded way of asking what \(\cos(0)\) is?
hey i asked you to think about a graph..and also gave you a hint..no point repeating it
just think about the values of x where the graph of cos(x) intersects the y axis..i will give you one. 90deg is one of the many
lol how can you graph if you don't know what \(\cos(0)\) is??
find the angle 0 on the last page of the attached cheat sheet then look at the ordered pairs on the unit circle the first coordinate is cosine, the second coordinate is sine
hey satellite its easier to think..i personally find it easier coz i divide the graph in muliple fragments each 90deg
but for that you ought to have an idea of cos sketch
it is easier to think if you know what you are doing for sure, but there is no way to graph cosine without knowing its values to begin with first you know the values, then you can graph
is it -1
well the values can only be 0,1,-1 so its not too difficult to remember for sure
hey trevor it certainly isnt
just put that in calculator and find it out..you should get +1
gotcha
