With inequalities, just like equalities, you can always multiply both sides with the same number, and the equation will still hold. 2 < 4, 4 < 8, etc. Whenever there is a minus sign involved in an inequality, you should always be careful. For example, -2 < 4, correct right? Now try multiplying both sides by minus one: 2 < -4. Weird right? Whenever you multiply both sides of an inequality with a negative number, you should flip the greater than or less than sign.

Try simplifying first by multiplying both sides by a positive number, so that you isolate x, please :)
