Why are hydrogen ions never found in an aqueous solution

thomaster (thomaster):

Because in an aqueous solution, hydrogen ions are combined with a water molecule to form \(\sf H_3O^+\), which is called the hydronium ion. Also this is a chemistry question, you posted this in the feeedback section. Next time double check if you're in the rihgt place :)
