Use the distance formula s = sqrt ((x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2) where (x1 , y1) and (x2 , y2) are the endpoints of the length of line
\[d=\sqrt{(x_o-x_1)^2+(y_o-y_1)^2+...+(n_o-n_1)^2}~:~for ~"n"~elements\]
to avoid having to keep track of stuff, i just move the points so one of them is at the origin; then square add sqrt
