OpenStudy (ivettef365):
first convert to y = mx + b
OpenStudy (anonymous):
first you have to simplify 3x + 6y = 18
3x + 6y = 18
6y=-3x+18
y=-3/6x+3
OpenStudy (ivettef365):
so you have 3x + 6y = 18
6y = -3x + 18
y = -3/6 + 18/6
so y = -1/2x + 3

You guys do realize that standard form is the fastest way to get two intercepts and easily determine the line?
OpenStudy (ivettef365):
now you have that the y-int = 3 and it is a negative slope
OpenStudy (anonymous):
we can tell the graph will be negative because the x is negative so b and c is out
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So a
OpenStudy (ivettef365):
you can find the x-intercept to see where the line cross on x so when y = 0 you have
3x + 6(0) = 18
3x = 18
x = 6, so it cross on (6,0)

yes its a because y=-3/6x+3, 3 is the y axis and and choice a is negative and has a y axis of 3.
OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):
or, you guys can completely ignore my advice. :<

sorry, this is jst the way I do it :)
