Well, if secant is positivwe but sin is negative, there is only one quadrant we can be in. Secant is 1/cos, and cos refers to x-values while sin refers to y-values. Once we know what quadrant we're in, we need to draw a triangle and label the appropriate sides of that triangle with sqrt37 and 6.Remember that secant is cosine flipped, so you would be placing sqrt 37/6 on hypotenuse/adjacent. Then just find the missing side via pythagorean theorem and take the appropriate values that will give you tan.
