It can be, sometimes it may make the war be one sided and very figurative. But on the same point it may drive the point home.

Theres no hard and fast rule to this qn as it ultimately depends on the individuals ability to grasp the content:in this case about war and what not...

If you are talking about memorizing the specific dates and events, then i think a poem would be a good way of retaining the info.

yes, it could be b coz sometime u get more information from one word of the poem the then stories. Or u could try both.

I think it's... remember that a poem is easier to remember because of the catchy rhythm.. you save time, reading a 3 paragraph poem then 10 pages in your text book, and it's way more efficient.
